Terry was hired in April of 2018 as head of Real Estate Investments and Capital Market Activities for RESIDE’s innovative multifamily investment platform, RESIDE Realty Group, Inc. The platform provides an innovative alternative to multifamily investing with the mission of buying and repositioning, or developing, apartment buildings to meet the growing demand for alternative housing, i.e., furnished apartments leased on a short-term basis, blended with hotel-like services. Terry’s responsibilities include property acquisitions, equity and debt capital, joint venture relationships and transaction execution.

Terry’s business and real estate investment experience spans a broad spectrum of disciplines in the commercial real estate, finance, and securities industries having worked both, for large public companies as a high-level corporate executive, and as a principal in boutique real estate start-ups. Career activities include owning and operating apartment buildings, commercial real estate lending including extensive experience with CMBS loans and securitization, non-performing loan valuation and portfolio sales, commercial real estate brokerage, joint ventures, equity syndication, and land entitlements. Terry has advised both private and institutional investors including major banks, top tier investment banks, FDIC, and large insurance companies in the disposition of their real estate and non-performing loan holdings.

Prior to his involvement with RESIDE, Terry ran his own real estate investment and capital advisory business, served as Executive Vice President and Director of Capital Markets for a national commercial lending operation where he oversaw all CMBS lending activities and loan sales. In addition, Terry held the position of Vice President at Ocwen Asset Investment Corporation (NYSE: OAC) which was a $1 billion publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trust where he ran the high-yield, high-leverage commercial lending platform and developed business initiatives and strategies designed to increase ROE.

Terry earned a BS Degree in Business/Real Estate from San Francisco State University and holds both California and Florida real estate broker licenses.
