Housekeeper

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES
-Clean and maintain all apartments on a daily or weekly basis.
-Sweep, scrub and mop floors.
-Vacuum clean carpets.
-Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
-Empty and clean trash containers.
-Dispose of trash.
-Clean wash toilets, mirrors, tubs, showers, countertops, stoves/ovens, dishes and fridge.
-Make up beds and change linen as required.
-Stock and maintain housekeeping carts and storage rooms.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITES AND ROLES
-Clean and make ready the apartments after a guest has vacated.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND QUALIFICATIONS
-Must have strong attention to detail.
-Ability to understand and speak English and have good communication skills.
-Candidate must be able to work occasional holidays and weekends.
-Must have ability to move, lift carry push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
-Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling and stooping.
-Stand or walk for extended period of time.
-Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods.
-Working knowledge of operating cleaning equipment.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND QUALIFICATIONS
-Minimum of 1-year hospitality experience is a plus.

Assistant Housekeeping Manager
Location: Rochester, MN
Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:00pm, some weekends
Compensations: $17.00 per hour

ABODA has an immediate opening for a full time Assistant Housekeeping Manager at Broadway Plaza.
The primary responsibility of the Assistant Housekeeping Manager is to manage all operations for assigned department. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and policies, practices, and procedures.

Essential Functions
-Assist in supervising the housekeeping staff.
-Assist in the planning and conducting of training programs.
-Help plan and coordinate activities, assign and review work, resolve problems, etc.
-Perform quality and inventory control checks of all areas.
-Oversee the distribution of inventory, supplies and equipment; order and maintain appropriate inventories of all materials used.
-Ensure that applicable health, safety and security procedures are followed.
-See that guest requests are dealt with properly and in a timely manner.
-Perform other tasks as assigned.

Guest Services

Concierge
Location: Rochester, MN
Compensations: $14.00 per hour

ABODA has an immediate opening for a Concierge at Broadway Plaza.
This position is 40 hours per week, hours will vary. Tuesday - Thursday will be afternoon shifts and Friday-Saturday will be overnight shifts.
The right person would provide flexibility and outstanding service to the corporate housing guests. We are looking for someone who is detail oriented and self motivated.

Primary Responsibilities
-Assisting guests with luggage/groceries/travel.
-Patrolling the building, monitoring cameras and acting immediately to any fire call that comes through the Simplex system
-Assisting the check-ins with all the knowledge of appliances, locations of services and transportation.
-Answering after hours phone calls, taking information about upcoming reservations or quotes and relaying the information to the on-staff member.

Additional Responsibilities
-Valet parking for VIP.
-Maintain clean entrance and lobby areas.
-Keeping up to date logs on valet parking, activity and packages.

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Active listening skills and ability to give full attention and understand what guests are asking.
Bi-lingual is preferred.
Confidence, enthusiasm and a strong dedication to the job and company.
Basic computer knowledge and willingness to learn.
Customer focused approach to problem solving.
